Retirement memory book
A retirement book from everyone they worked with.
Years of work leave behind a lot of people who are grateful. Send one link to the team, and each coworker adds a story, a thank-you or a photo. We print and bind it into a keepsake they can take home on their last day.
Free to start. No payment until you approve your book. Books from $45.
How it works for a team
You send one link. The office fills the book.
No passing a card around the building, and nobody gets left out because they work remotely or left the company years ago.
Begin the book
Pick a cover and add their name. It takes a few minutes and costs nothing.
Share the link
Post it in your team chat or email. Coworkers add memories and photos from their phone or computer.

What to write
Retirement book prompts to send your team
A blank page stops people. A good question gets them writing. Copy any of these into your message to coworkers.
- What did they teach you that you still carry?
- What's your favorite memory of working together?
- What will the office miss most about them?
- Tell us about a time they went out of their way for you.
- What's a phrase or habit everyone will recognize as theirs?
- What was it like working with them on your first day?
- What do you hope they do first with all that free time?
- Finish the sentence: "Because of you, I…"
Short is fine. Two honest sentences and a photo make a beautiful page.
Timing
Start about four to five weeks before the party.
Retirement books often gather memories from 30 to 80 colleagues, so plan on three to five weeks. Here's how the time splits.
Choose how they keep it
One for the retiree, copies for the team.
A hardcover makes a lasting gift for the retiree, and you can let coworkers order their own copies.
Hardcover
Sturdy laminate boards and a ribbon marker. The heirloom version for their bookshelf.
Paperback
A classic book feel on cream paper, and an easy choice for extra copies.
Spiral
Opens flat for easy reading. No minimum page count, so it suits smaller teams.
All prices include typesetting and free standard US shipping. Books over 50 pages add $10 for each additional 50 pages. A photo cover adds $10. Full pricing details.
Questions
Before you send the link
Do coworkers need an account to add a memory?
Not with an open link: anyone you share it with can add a memory and a photo from their phone or computer. If you would rather keep it tighter, a private invite asks each contributor to make a free account.
Can people from other offices or former coworkers contribute?
Yes. Contributors only need the link, so it works across offices, time zones and people who have already moved on.
How far ahead should I start?
About four to five weeks before the party. Give coworkers three to four weeks to add their memories. Printing takes 3 to 5 business days after you approve your proof, plus shipping.
Can coworkers order their own copy?
Yes. You can allow contributors to buy copies of the book themselves.
What if only a few people contribute?
You can add memories on someone's behalf, and a smaller book of heartfelt notes is still a gift they will keep. Spiral books have no minimum page count.
Their last day deserves more than a card.
